REQUIRED STUDENT MATERIALS

The following items are needed by students for all non PE classes:

1. Talbert Thunderbird Student Handbook (formally known as Minder Binder) - This will be provided to you at the beginning of the school year.  Replacement cost is $5 if lost.
2. Notebook – must have at least 1 1/2” rings to hold materials for six classes.  (Trapper or Data Centertype notebooks are unacceptable).
3. Index Tabs to divide notebook by subject area.
4. Notebook Paper – three-hole punched.  (Spiral notebook paper which has a ragged edge when ripped from the notebook is unacceptable).
5. Covers for textbooks – do not use coverings which stick to books.  (The best covers are brown bags or stretchy nylon covers).
6. Calculator
7. Writing Materials:

• #2 lead pencils (at least two at all times)
• Pens (blue or black ink).  Sharpies and permanent markers are not allowed.
• Red correcting pens

 Optional materials – These Vary by Teacher

• Plastic pencil bag
• Small set of washable markers/colored pencils/crayons.
• Small hand-held pencil sharpener with cover.
• Compass
• Ruler
